Now, how can I not to be addicted to these things?

Time to introduce my current addictions for the last 6 months!

Don't walk but run!

I'm sure by now most of the search hits for this post by the label 'running man' should know how awesome Running Man show is. It is a Korean television game/variety show where 6 members will complete a mission every week with guest for the week. I bet you if you need a great deal of laughter on a stressful day, then this is the best show to watch

JoongKi is no longer a member but early episodes of him are as crazy as it always will be.

2. Anirudh and Dhanush

On the left is Anirudh Ravichander and on the right is Dhanush.
So who don't know about them? Does "Why This Kolaveri Di" rings a bell to you?
Bingo!
Anirudh Ravichander is a young music composer who composed the global viral song "Why This Kolaveri?" at the age of 20 in 2011. The song is featured in Dhanush's movie entitled "3" which was directed by Dhanush's wife, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's eldest daughter and Anirudh's cousin, Aishwariya Dhanush. I already did a review on the movie here

Dhanush on the other hand, is already in cinema industry for years with his ultimate breakthrough came with his commercially hit movie, Thiruvilayadal Arambam. The major turn was when he started to go off-acting line and indulged in lyric writing and singing. Yes, Dhanush can sing. The first song he sang was "Un mele asaithan" in his brother's movie "Ayirathil Oruvan". So lyrics for "Why This Kolaveri" song (and other songs in '3') were written by Dhanush and also sang by him. Trust me, this song is addictive.

I know you all must be wondering why I'm talking two people who did something great way back then in 2013. Well, good news to the lovers of these two young men. They are joining forces again for "Ethir Neechal" which is produced by Dhanush and wrote lyrics and sing for 2 songs if I'm not mistaken. And Anirudh has just again proved his God-ly music making talent. I'm so in love with the songs in the movie. My recommendations would be :-

Singers : Dhanush and Anirudh
Lyrics : Dhanush

Singer : Anirudh
Lyrics : Dhanush

Singers : Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Goshal
Lyrics : Vaali

Bonus! 2 more songs that I have been replaying all this while.
Music : Anirudh
Singer : Anirudh

Music : A R Rahman
Singers : Sakthisree Gopalan and ARR
Watch the unplugged version on MTV Unplugged!

Note : I can't embed the videos since all the songs can only be watched on Sony Music Entertainment@YT. So the links would direct you there.

3. Hyouka

This is a 22-episode anime where the main attraction would be the main lead Houtarou Oreki's attitude. Yes, he's could the most laziest anime character that you might have come across in your anime-ing years. And yet, his logical inference and awkwardness will make you fall for him. Right after the first episode itself. I love his motto as well. It sounds so...err...lazy

4. Drawing

I'm not such a good artist when it comes to drawing. I guess it's pretty much in my genes since both my brother and father are very much good at drawing. How I wish I can draw as well as them?

Not so much of techniques used but I guess it's the closest  I can copy as the original one.

Old works of copying. So this copying skills lead me to another hobby or money-making business. Yup, drawing mehendi/henna.

Anime Review - Another

I'm back and now, it's to review an anime!!! MySpace

I'm currently watching an anime entitled "Another" and i'm not gonna crack my already-tired-brain for making my own version of synopsis. So thanks to Wikipedia, here is the anime's synopsis.

Another (アナザー Anazā?) is a Japanese fictional mystery horror novel by Yukito Ayatsuji, published on October 29, 2009 by Kadokawa Shoten.

In 1972, a very popular honor student named Misaki died partway through the school year in Yomiyama Middle School’s class 3-3. The rest of the students, devastated by the unexpected loss, decided to carry on as if their classmate were still alive, going so far as to keep the desk in place and bringing it to the graduation ceremony. Yet no one could explain why the dead and buried classmate was present on the graduation photo.

In spring 1998, 15-year-old student Kōichi Sakakibara arrives from Tokyo in Yomiyama, to stay with his grandparents while his father works in India. He transfers into Class 3-3 but misses the first few weeks as a pneumothorax keeps him hospitalised. While in the hospital, he receives a visit from his classmates and meets a mysterious girl wearing his school’s uniform called Mei Misaki, who seems to be visiting the morgue.

Once recovered, Kōichi goes to school and tries to adapt. His aunt, a teacher at Yomiyama North, gives him a few pointers but, like his peers, remains evasive when it comes to their behavior towards Mei, who is treated by all as if she did not exist. Kōichi is further confounded by the air of mystery around class 3-3 and the fact that it is isolated from other classes, even practicing P.E. separately.

Things go from bad to worse when a classmate, Yukari Sakuragi, slips while running down the stairs and dies, impaled on the sharp end of her umbrella. This is one of many deaths related to Class 3-3 which have Kōichi and his friends Mei, Naoya Teshigawara, Tomohiko Kazami, and Yūya Mochizuki, trying to unravel the mystery of 1972’s Misaki and the "calamity" that has struck Class 3-3 ever since.

*****

My personal review is this anime ROCKS! It have the normal Japanese horror elements such as mysterious girl, high school and curses. The calamity (I learnt this word through this anime. What ya know anime really taught me new words in English MySpace ) is really unique and never fails to intrigues you~ Since it's an ongoing anime, I would love to advise whoever interested to watch this anime to WAIT UNTIL IT FINISH AIRING~ Simply because you may feel it's way tooooooooooooooooo long to wait a week for an episode to be uploaded on the site. MONDAY, Y U SO FAR AWAY??

Anime!

i'm not an anime "otaku"* but i do have some favourite animes that i love dearly~ and i want to talk about them.

The first anime that i watched was Clamp School. it has a cute storyline with three beautiful young lads as the leads. that was the anime that initiated my love for blonde-haired guys. i was deeply in crush with the Nakoru Imoniyama~

cute,isn't he? ^^

After that anime ended, i continued to watch quite a number of animes. Detective School Q, Honey and Clover, The Law of Ueki, Yakitate Ja-Pan and XXXHolic~

actually i wanted to write about the anime that i'm currently re-watching. it's Honey and Clover~
This is a simple story enriched with various of emotions. heartbreaking, cute and sweet love(s) and of course complicated love triangle(s). i would recommend a girl or boy to watch this anime to understand better of the opposite sex's feelings. and i will always end up relating myself with one of the character, Yamada. She loves Mayama, a fellow collegian and too bad it's one-sided love. the problem is the guy knew that she loves him but he can't accept her because he loves another girl. and he feels that Yamada is precious to him and yet don't want to accept her love. pretty complicated huh? that's what i love in this anime. it makes me think human's feelings are complicated just as the human body itself.

more about the anime

and the first episode of the first season of two with english subbed video
